Bouley, Chanterelle, Megu: this year’s Taste of Tribeca may be the most decadent food festival, ever. Forty-five bucks gets you samples from more than 50 restaurants. And it’s all to benefit the neighborhood’s two public elementary schools. Saturday (5/21), 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

It’s no accident that the producers behind the U.K. gangster film Layer Cake decided to open last weekend. After all, not everyone will opt for Star Wars over the lovely Siena Miller set in a slick plot. Besides, it’s from the same bloke who brought you Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch.

If looks could kill then the badas* babes that make up the Gotham Girls Roller Derby would, well, be killer. Check out the Long Island Lunch Ladies and the Mott Haven Meatheads this Saturday night in the B-X. Tickets are $12.
