Get "Hired" at The World Bar |
Liquid Luxury"You're Hired", The Cocktail Wednesday, April 14, 2004 “There is no problem you cannot solve without a glass of Cognac.” - Ernest Hemingway Every sport celebrates a championship with a drink. For the athletes on The Apprentice, it’s the same, but better. That’s because tonight, one lucky Kwame Jackson or Bill Rancic will walk away with a six-figure salary on Trump’s Team. Which is nice and all, but for instant gratification, we’ll take the celebratory cocktail that says it all… “You’re Hired”. “You’re Hired” is literally a wet dream! Concocted by the master mixologists at The World Bar for tonight’s winner, this decadent drink features some of the most oppulent ingredients in the history of wine and spirits. We’re talking L’Esprit de Courvoisier, a rare cognac blend that starts with vintages originally reserved for Napolean (the Original Mr. World) in 1802, another vintage from 1865, and one more from 1910. It’s also gently stirred with Chateau d’Yquem Sauterne, considered one of the world’s best wines, and everyone’s favorite bubbly, Dom Perignon. And at $1,000 per glass… two words: sip slooowly.
2 oz. L’Esprit de Courvoisier Served in a Champagne Flute.
