Classically trained in software development, Pascal uses his computer the same way a traditional artist uses a palette. He gathers “colors” from scanning brand name ads, hundreds of them, and “layers” them on top of each other - hundreds and hundreds of layers. The end result reflects the feeling of a painting, with subtle textures and colors, and the balance of a photograph with its form, light, and shadow. No wonder his work is often shown exclusively and routinely sold out.
