The scene at 300 New York |
Your Lucky Strike In Chelsea300 New York Opens Wednesday, May 30, 2007 Bourbon on the diving platform. Rum runners in the racquetball court. Mojitos with the third base coach. Not all sports pair well with cocktails. Fortunately bowling does. Chelsea Piers’ 300 New York bowling alley mixes it up at their swanky, recently made over space. The new 300 Club section offers bottle service and private lanes, and can be reserved entirely for meetings and corporate events (Sports Illustrated is there today). The main area offers many more lanes and T.G.I. Friday’s-style mega frozen drinks (Big Bowl Turkey Tea), plus appetizers (Thai Breaker Chicken Wings) and American classic dishes (Angus Steak Burgers) from the 300 Grill. Bowling-shy friends? Start in the second level lounge. After a martini in the chill environment the guys will be picking out balls and the girls happily swapping stilettos for rental shoes. Lucky strike, indeed. |
