Inside Haru Wall Street
Wall Street’s New Sushi Temple
Haru Wall Street Opens
Monday, December 10, 2007
The warm welcome as you enter. The fresh sashimi. The lychee sakes.
Yes, Haru manages to hit all the right notes, all the time.
Fittingly, their newest sushi temple Haru Wall Street, located in the former Cocoa Exchange Building, is really sweet. Boasting 160 seats, a cocktail bar, and an impressive list of special rolls, Wall Street finally has a first-rate restaurant for sushi savants.
Here’s the recipe for the new Haru:
RICHLY STYLED INTERIORS. It might feel a little Kill Bill in the main dining area. That’s because of the Shinto temple-inspired design. There are also private dining rooms equipped with WiFi and flat panels (for your next office party). Take it all in. Then it’s time for…
SIGNATURE FARE. High marks to the extensive and evolving menu (view the menu). All of the rolls, ceviches, and entrées you’ve come to enjoy are on the menu. Pair your meal with…
SAKE AND COCKTAILS. Champions of Japan’s imperial rice wine, Haru offers a well-edited list of premium sakes and flavored sakes (try the Lychee Sake). Other cocktail options include the Komodo Dragon (vanilla vodka, coconut rum, and pineapple juice), the Green Tea Margarita and the Wall Street-tini (a refreshing gold-dusted martini).
Sounds like a recipe for success.
Haru Wall Street soft-opens today (liquor license is on the way). Official open is set for January 9th.
