GRILL SEEKER

Nothing says “Summer weekend” like a barbeque. Fill up on Fireside’s classic BBQ pre-fixe, including ribs, steak and chicken with potato salad, corn on the cob and s’mores. Saturday (5/26) through Monday (5/28), $32 per person.

Leaving the city this weekend doesn’t mean you’ll have to settle for less. Plan in advance by picking up one of Klee Brasserie’s Weekend Basket for Two, packed with three-course meals for you and your other.

Choose from a revolving selection of appetizers and entrees such as mini lobster rolls, house-made pasta salad, mini duck prosciutto sandwiches, Kobe dog bites, Alsatian-style cold pizza, and of course fried chicken. There’s desserts too: tarts, cookies, fruit or artisanal cheese. Each basket also comes with a large Fiji water with disposable glasses, cutlery and napkins. SOUTHERN COMFORT

There’s more than one way to BBQ, so go Southern style at 5Ninth this Memorial Day. Select from Dry Rubbed House Smoked Brisket, New Orleans Style BBQ Catfish, or Billy’s Fried Chicken, and dig into the sides: beans, corn, ’slaw, collard greens and biscuits with gravy.
