A strong, musky yet simultaneously creamy fragrance of an antiquated gentleman’s store fills the “fun-size” space from the moment you enter. The bright green and purple striped wall in the back recalls Britain’s triumphant Victorian period, while large portraits of 60’s era Michael Caine and Sean Connery decorate the stark, mod entrance. Duncan’s tailored suits, composed of only the finest textiles, come in traditional Saville Row style aesthetics and mischief encouraging patterns like navy and magenta pinstripe, lavender corduroy, and the like. Mr. Quinn’s use of bright colors is his hallmark, and works astonishingly well not only with his suits, but also with his sumptuous cashmere pullovers, vibrantly patterned ties and dress shirts, cuff links, pocket squares, and scarves.
