Funny how Summer brings out berserk behavior in men.

Take a recent episode of HBO’s “Six Feet Under” where rock star artist Billy (Jeremy Sisto) totally flips when his favorite “Ski Iraq” tee shirt goes MIA. Granted he was off his meds but you can’t really blame him for wanting to express himself with his Dangerous Breed shirt.

The label’s stylish American Apparel graphic tees are all about making political statements in a smart and subtle way. More Jon Stewart than Michael Moore.

The tees are the brainchild of Jim Morrison (no, not that Jim Morrison), a Columbia Law School grad with a helicopter pilot’s license and a political conscience. “Ski Iraq” is part of his “Axis of Evil/Vacation Destinations” collection, which also includes gems like “Surf Saudi” and “Enjoy North Korea.” By blending these slogans with vacation images, the tees – and their wearers – stylishly comment on current U.S. foreign policy.

No surprise they’re favored by opinionated celebs like Tim Robbins and Wynona Ryder.
